Fun but tasted minging
It was really fun baking the cakes and doing the experiment. However, the icing tasted absolutely minging. Ruined the cakes and they were thrown away!

Tasted awful
The experiment part was interesting, but the alkaline icing tasted like soap so the cupcakes went uneaten.

Great Fun
Really great fun as an experiment but the taste of the icing was incredibly synthetic and unpleasant. I would buy again as a fun activity but we would only be eating the cake...

Fun activity with kids
Lots of fun with a 4yo. Instructions were really easy to follow with some activities to enjoy while the cupcakes were in the oven. Could do with a bit more icing but you can easily add your own icing sugar.

Good value
Easy to follow. Fun sheet for while cakes were cooking. Cook on zoom regularly with 4 granddaughters age 5 - 12. Came across this so used it with the 2 youngest. All 4 loved the colour change experiment. Good value and fun
