Great Value
Great Value for a powdered spice. Very fine like flours as others have said but works well in cooking.
tastes and smells funny
Doesn't taste very strong and seemed to smell funny?
Its white fine powder like flour
I usually buy the garlic powder in a jar which is small granules, this is a fine powder with the consistency of literal powder and its revolting. Its white so it seems completely over processed. Couldnt recommend .
Pungent and cheap
Yes it's cheap but it tastes and smells cheap. Quite pungent but has that bitterness you can get with dried garlic sometimes and I much prefer the more expensive, fresher tasting, Cannamela that you can sprinkle on your food without overwhelming it or adding unpleasant flavours. I am a fan of garlic but this was a bit too much for me.
Cheap, sweet... recommended
I used to buy a more expensive brand and noticed that the East End is stocked by Ocado. Used in mash, soups and stews and happy with the outcomes. Slightly sweet and good value; I like nearly all the East End products I have bought.
Decent value
Big pack for the price - powder is fine, quite bold compared to others Ive tried
