Superb Veggie ingredient
Consuming fish and occasionally meat for most of the time, I do though enjoy good Veggie food. For one such meal I find these beans are an excellent base for a bean curry. Make a sauce to your taste and add the drained can for the last few minutes as your rice finishes cooking if you have rice so as to warm the beans through (they are already tender) and you've got a quick and tasty (not to mention nutritious) quality Veggie meal in front of you. I've just ordered another six tins to keep me going.
Good and cheap cupboard staple
Does what it says on the tin.
Overcooked or undercooked
I’ve had 6 tins of these and they’ve all been either overcooked and very mushy or undercooked and too hard
Really nice!!
I like these, slightly smaller than others but that's not a negative opinion I prefer them, tin is packed full of them and they cook up lovely, nice soft texture, not like the bullets I've had with other brands!!
Good quality beans
These kidney beans are just as good as the more expensive ones when chucked into a chilli or a curry. The only negative I have is that they do not have a ring pull so require a can opener. This is fine for me however the elderly or disabled may struggle to open these hence why Ive removed a star.
tasty and a great price
A staple in my house
