They really do work!
I've been using the Ecoegg laudry pellets for some time now. I was quite dubious at first as to their effectiveness but they seem to be on a par with anything else I've tried over the years for a general colourjed wash and are good environmentally too. I like the 'Linen' scent - it's very subtle but fresh. Cost-wise it's excellent value too

To me, this is all-around perfect. A lovely mild scent, no nasty chemicals, good for the environment and money saving. What's not to like?
mild scent
I have used eco egg for years, and bought this lightly refill for a change. it's good - not overpowering in a washing detergent way, and my bedding has come out with a very mild and pleasant scent that doesn't keep me awake. Good value even when not on offer. agree with the other reviewer on fiddliness, but a small niggle that doesn't bother me - I tend to forget the knack to opening the egg between the months to refill though.
Good, no nasty chemical
I’ve been using the eco egg for years and it’s good, and has saved me a small fortune over the years. The only thing I would take a point off for is that the eco egg is not the easiest to re-fill, I find the small mechanism to open the egg can be difficult to open sometimes. It’s important to refill regularly as per instructions.
update - do good Im back for a refill!
I received a laundry egg to review two months ago and its been so good Im back to buy a refill. Smells lovely and no chemicals - gets most marks out but anything bigger gets a shot of Ocado best but stain remover powder as a top up. Saves us a tonne of money too as we run a laundry pretty much every day. Wonderful!
