Filotea Linguine Artisan Egg Pasta 250g
£5.75
£2.30 per 100gProduct information
Filotea Linguine is a flat spaghetti-length pasta. It ideally matches with fish sauces or with traditional 'Pesto Genovese'.
Filotea produces dry egg pasta in the Marche region (central Italy), using the finest raw materials and following a unique recipe and artisan preparation methods. The result is an egg pasta that is reminiscent of a homemade one, traditionally prepared by grandmothers. It is light and easy to digest, while its textured surface helps to absorbe the sauces, thus exalting the flavour of all the ingredients. Filotea is regarded as one of the 'Top Italian Food & Beverage Experience' by the leading Gambero Rosso guide.

wow what a price
They try to make it seem less expensive by saying its enough for people. Its not. Try and give less 60gr of pasta to an Italian and see what they say. Its usually between 80-100gr each.
A grand linguine
Lucky enough to catch one third off. Its an expensive fresh pasta, for sure, but also a quality one. I tried half in a crab linguine and thought it redolent of another time of mine in Italy. It claims to serve four. I think its more like two for a main only. It might go to four but only if youve other courses.
The best
Superior quality. If its offer buy plenty of different ones!
Putting the \x27Art\x27 into artisan pasta
To me, pasta used to just be pasta, a staple of dinner time that served a function. Now my eyes have been opened to the marvels of Filotea's artisan pasta range and they shall never again be closed. Sauces stick magnificently to this pasta and whilst not being overpowering it has a subtle flavour of its own that compliments any sauce incredibly. Would recommend trying with a truffle pesto and a splash of olive oil. You won't regret it. 10/10.
Very good but expensive
Yes it is expensive but I think it worth paying the extra as takes your pasta dishes up to a new level .Try it you won’t be disappointed.
so fresh
Yes this is dearer than your average pasta, but when it cooks without sticking, is perfectly portioned for four without over eating nor feeling cheated, this linguine cooks so easily in 4 minutes and tastes restaurant worthy and not heavy on the stomach. If youre worried about price save it for special meals, but I definitely recommend trying - delicious and light.
