Filotea Pappardelle Artisan Egg Pasta 250g
£5.90
£2.36 per 100gProduct information
Filotea Pappardelle are the widest cut we produce, excellent with game sauces.
Filotea produces dry egg pasta in the Marche region (central Italy), using the finest raw materials and following a unique recipe and artisan preparation methods. The result is an egg pasta that is reminiscent of a homemade one, traditionally prepared by grandmothers. It is light and easy to digest, while its textured surface helps to absorbe the sauces, thus exalting the flavour of all the ingredients. Filotea is regarded as one of the 'Top Italian Food & Beverage Experience' by the leading Gambero Rosso guide.

Ok
We usually eat another artisan pasta- similar price on Ocado. Tried this for a change. The pasta was ok but was purely a vehicle for the sauce, as opposed to our regular pasta that tastes incredible and can be eaten with evoo and parmesan. This needs a good sauce. It's ok.
are they made with free range eggs?
Are they made with free range eggs? There is no information on the packaging- Ocado should provide this.
best dry pasta Ive tried
This was great - just did a roasted cauliflower and walnut pappardelle (Marcus Wareing recipe) and the quality of the pasta really made the difference
Mummmaaaa miaaaa!!
Delicious pasta. We do enjoy a simple, slow cooked beef shin ragu and this pappardelle is the perfect pasta to serve it over, 5 stars from the lord
Smashed to smithereens
No issue with the taste but my goodness do the manufacturers need to rethink the packaging of this product! Out of 250 grams, 100 grams was just tiny pieces of broken pasta. Another issue I had was a fair amount was stuck together, presumably from not being properly separated during the drying process. I’m amazed this has as many positive reviews as it does, no way I’d buy this again!
wonderful pasta
As with other reviewers I agree that this is a fantastic store cupboard substitute for fresh pasta. Tastes almost as good as freshly made. Not cheap but definitely worth it.
