"Filotea Spaghetti alla Chitarra is a square type of pasta, thicker than Tagliolini. This pasta goes well with meat of fish sauces.
Filotea produces dry egg pasta in the Marche region (central Italy), using the finest raw materials and following a unique recipe and artisan preparation methods. The result is an egg pasta that is reminiscent of a homemade one, traditionally prepared by grandmothers. Preparation and Usage
Hob - from ambient. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add salt to taste. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 5 minutes. Then, drain the pasta and immediately add your favourite condiments or sauces.

Disintegrated after 3 minutes of cooking
Not sure if it was a bad batch or they've changed recipes since the last review in 2022, but this was terrible and brittle. It recommends a 5 minute cook time, yet it disentegrated after 3 minutes of cooking.

Well worth buying when this is on offer and goes really well with simple sauces so the taste of the pasta can shine through.
Amazing egg pasta
I was told by my colleague that I was crazy for spending this amount on simply pasta but I knew it would be worth it and I was right. Absolutely beautiful full flavoured, rich egg pasta that sauce naturally adheres to. I recommend a few spoonfuls of the Filotea arrabiata sauce or Sacla fiery pesto along with garlic prawns.
So delicious
Have purchased a number of times now. I make spaghetti carbonara with it. This product really does taste so much better than the usual spaghetti, it elevates the dish to another level. I did wonder if it was worth the extra money but honestly, it is. Now it’s this pasta or nothing. Hope Ocado continue to stock it. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. Also, it takes only 5 mins to cook in boiling water. It is fantastic.
