Ughhhh!
Truly awful. The oil was gross and the black skin mixed up with bits of fish creating an unpleasant slush. I poured away all the oil & mixed the kippers with tomato sauce, but it was still pretty unpleasant so threw it away.
1/2 a fish?
Barely anything in the tin! My toddler ate the whole thing in about a minute.
Small
This pack is about the size of a pack of playing cards! I dont think it would serve more than one person.
Tasty
Tasty kippers. Only enough for one. They are tightly packed but can be separated without much bother. They fry up a treat.
Not impressed.
They come out of the tin a 'solid' lump of fish which make s it difficult to seperate and although they are smoky in taste even the John West kippers are better tasting than these and cheaper?
strange taste
I wanted to love these but they just tasted unusual to me and not what I expected. I prefer the sprats so wouldn't buy these again
