Brand
When it comes to wine we believe in quality and distinctive character, so with Fish Hoek we focus on stunning single grape varieties and pare back our winemaking until it's artful in its simplicity.
At Fish Hoek we believe winemaking is an art best kept simple.
Our approach to winemaking is pared back to allow the quality and distinctive character of each variety to shine through.
We use only single grape varieties of the highest quality sourced from the Western Cape, allowing the purity of taste to speak for itself.
Fish Hoek wine was awarded Fairtrade certification in 2015. A percentage of sales from every bottle of Fish Hoek goes directly into the hands of the farm workers who grow our grapes, helping to fund local schools, female empowerment and other community groups in the Western Cape.
A wine that is not just good but does good too.

Awful
Didn't like this wine at all. Not a wine buff and open to trying any wine but found this quite a challenge I think it had quite a nutty flavour definitely not for me!
Sharp taste
First taste made me wince as it tasted very sharp and tangy and I had to eat a piece of chocolate afterwards! Did manage to finish a glass of it but certainly wouldnt buy again.
just lovely
I get this every week, yes it's a strong flavoured sauvignon, but it's truly lovely easy drinking wine. Beats all the watery equivalents
Bad flavour when drunk with fish
One would think white wine goes well with fish, this one somehow ephised the taste of salmon in a bad way. A bitter fishsy lingering after taste, simply horrible.
Really nice
I keep getting this again and again. It's a nice wine good price.
Pronounced aldehyde taste
When first opened this had a strong taste of aldehyde. It was OK about 24 hours after being opened.
