Our sea bass is from Turkey, and the team here work closely with the ASC to make sure every pack of fish with my name on it has been sourced responsibly. At Fish Said Fred, that's a non-negotiable. And the fact that it's so healthy is just a bonus. The NHS recommends eating two portions of fish a week, but why stop there? I could eat it every day! And pretty much do.

Good
I got this in a flash sale. I was weary due to the less than glowing reviews. Glad I took the chance, not sure Id pay full price but I enjoyed it.
very ordinary
This fish was pretty awful. What I didnt realise is that it has already been frozen and thawed before you get it. I refroze it (as it says on the packet) but it came out tough and fishy. Definitely wouldnt purchase again
Horrible
Not nice. Was bland and tough even though it was well in date. Has put me off buying again.
lovely fillets
Really nice sea bass fillets would recommend
Worst Seabass I have ever tried
I purchased this on a flash sale as a bit of a treat and have to say I am utterly disgusted this could be sold for consumption. The seabass on opening smelt fishy (which usually fresh fish shouldnt have a fishy smell), but thought because its been vacuum packed, it may have just smelt smellier than usual. I cooked it and within a few mouthfuls (and those were forced mouthfuls as didnt want to waste it), I had to chuck the rest as it was making me feel physically sick. DO NOT BUY as youll end up chucking money away in the bin
Imported
This is Turkish farmed fish. Ecological disaster. Britain has the best seafood in the world. Only buy British produce.
