Not great
Spicy but no depth of flavour or umami taste to it, even after a 4 hour marinade
Excellent sprinkled on chips
This is so good if you sprinkle it on home made oven chips 10 minutes from the end, they taste like spicy curly fries, and who doesn't love curly fries!
pantry staple
Absolutely love it. I agree with previous reviews that salt needs to be added to complement the flavour. I also add sesame oil in marinate. Love fried and baked. Stock up when on sale.
Not for me
If you are a person who likes spicey foods don’t buy these! These are not very strong in taste and no salt whatsoever in it! It was so tasteless that we couldn’t finish our meal. I expect it to have everything like nandos but definitely it needed salt!
Quick and tasty
Good for adding flavour quickly. I pan fried a turkey steak and then added a bag of frozen cauliflower rice, tasty and low fat. Prefer the M&S version, this is a bit tangy.
Stunning
Bought this on a whim and had been sitting in the cupboard for a while. Tried it just now for lunch, it coated one large chicken breast (enough for 2 people) and a whole block of halloumi no problem. We baked the chicken and fried the halloumi and honestly, the marinade was incredible. Spice is perfect (not too hot), and just so flavoursome. Will be purchasing more right now!
