Great for baking
This works really well in baked goodsbut you need to ensure it does not get clumped up. So constantly mixing while adding the egg replacer is important. Ive had great results so far
not sure
i mean, if you didn't have to, you wouldn't use it. it's weird, just thick blob it turns to. cake turned out okay, so it served the purpose but I only needed it for the guest who is diary free so will be sitting it the cupboard now until needed again!
It worked a treat - cake success
I was a bit dubious as to whether this would work. My toddler is allergic to eggs, and I wanted to make cupcakes, so thought I would give this a go. Wow, I couldnt believe it when I looked in the oven - they actually did rise. You wouldnt know from the taste that there are no eggs, but this replacement instead. I used 2 egg for them and it worked very well. My husband tried them and couldnt tell the difference. They did sink a bit when out of the oven, but I kind of expected that. Overall I would recommend.
Very handy
I am not vegan but this is a super handy cupboard standby. My baking plans are nolonger thwarted as I know I always have this in the cupboard. I've had good results with using this in my baking but I do find it very difficult to combine with water without getting lots of lumpy bits. Still good despite that.
Not good
I hold my hands up and admit maybe I'm doing something wrong (although I have no idea what?!) but nothing I've ever made using this has gone right, despite following instructions very closely :(
disaster..
I had really high hopes after reading other reviews. Unfortunately, my brownies were truly awful with visibly separated layers..had to bin it in the end, Im just annoyed about wasted ingredients and time!
