Nice taste. Nice price
I really rate this brandy. It is not harsh like some others, probably due to the maturation in sherry casks. Great for cooking, mixing cocktails or just drunk on its own. I agree that the plastic thingy in the bottle is a bit of a pain but, if you are patient, persistence pays off.
Not as I expected
Although this brandy was produced in Spain, it is obviously for the export market. Although it has elements of the taste of Spanish brandy proper. If you were to buy brandy in Spain it would be much more flavoursome and far more deeply flavoured.
great tasting brandy
Lovely smooth taste. Easy to pour despite other reviewers problems - just turn the bottle upside down over the glass and it pours easily.
Nice if you can get it to pour
This brandy has an over-complicated plastic pourer, and at first I couldn't get more than a few drops out at a time. You have to grasp the orange neck of the bottle and twist a little clockwise, then it will pour a measure. I had to ask my daughter (who climbs so has very strong fingers) to do this for me. The brandy's fine once you can get at it.
Lovely brandy.
This split the house, I loved the flavour and softness on palate, others thought not. Good value and great for both cooking and drinking. A definite repurchase.
I can\x27t open the bottle!
It's got a funny plastic top inside that I can't remove. I hacked away at it a bit and got some brandy to trickle out - I only needed 75ml for my Christmas pudding. I googled how to open it and there simply isn't an easy way. It involves hacking away with screw drivers and things and I nearly ruined a good knife.
