Good staple when not bruised.
Mostly bruised, but some weeks are fine and are reasonable for the price.
So bruised
Normally I would grumble a bit, cut the bad bits and still eat the bruised bananas. This time they were so black and bruised all over that I wouldn’t even bother. No reasonable shopper would have picked these and paid for them. They were also rather small, like the mini ones for kids sold by another supermarket.
Banana\x27s
These are pretty much in every weekly shop. Good quality & value, I eat one every morning!
Best Bananas
Have tried all the bananas but we like these the best. We like the way they ripen with a spotty peel. They have a nice sweet flavour. Like all the bananas on offer we sometimes get delivered a pack that are too green but they are worth waiting for.
Last well
Perfect size for my elderly Mum
Regularly receive bruised
i'm not sure if it's the product or the poor packing but inevitably the fruit is bruised. As I have it with cereal it's easy to cut out the damaged bits, it would be an issue if I ate them with a packed lunch.
