Exquisite, exceptional, outstanding!
This organic quinoa is outstanding - the tastiest, most delicious, best textured quinoa I have found. It has an exquisite flavour and beautiful grainy texture with no stodgy gloopy mass - the depth of flavour and texture is exceptional. It makes glorious delicious “risotto” in place of risotto rice - just cook the "risotto" for much less time than rice. I also love this brand’s organic wholewheat bulgur wheat (a perfect alternative to their organic wholewheat couscous, and also makes gorgeous “risotto”) and their organic wholewheat pasta range. Another winner from Garofalo!
Should be gluten free!
Quinoa is a naturally gluten free grain... please stock some that is actually gluten free, then coeliacs can eat it safely
Lovely!
This quinoa is great, but just to flag that you should wash it well before you cook it to get rid of any bitter tastes. Also, the cooking instructions need amending as I had to use more water than the instructions said, and I simmered for 15 minutes. 10-12 minutes wasnt long enough which was on the packet. It was really good!
Delicious and cooks well
Definitely worth it when on sale. Cooks well and tasted good in a veggie salad
