great
great! i followed others instructions in how to cook and it turned out fab.
Exquisite, exceptional, outstanding!
This organic wholewheat couscous is outstanding - the tastiest, most delicious, best textured couscous I have found. It has an exquisite nutty flavour and beautiful grainy texture which retains “al dente” bite with no stodgy gloopy mass - the depth of flavour and texture is exceptional. I love that this is organic as well as wholewheat - usually you get one or the other. I add equal quantity of boiling water in a covered bowl and soak it for 5 minutes rather than simmering in a pan in order to retain the texture and avoid becoming gloopy. I also love this brand’s organic bulgur wheat, which I use as a glorious alternative to this couscous, and their organic quinoa and organic wholewheat pasta range. Another winner from Garofalo!
Very good
The first couple of times I made this I followed the directions on the packet and it stuck together and was quite gloopy. The third time I cooked it the way I usually do (cover the couscous with an equal quantity of boiling water, cover the dish and wait 5 minutes) and it was perfect.
easy to cook
Very easy to cook and nice change to pasta or rice
