So delicious
I dont eat cheddar cheese so much normally but this cheddar is so delicious, nutty and creamy.
Mouldy and metallic
Intrigued that this cheese has been similarly reviewed but the reviews were classed as not helpful. I bought this cheese and it was mouldy inside the the wax coating. Fact. It also had a very strange metallic aftertaste. Fact. All very unsatisfactory for a cheddar at this price.
Delicious creamy cheddar
Had forgotten how good this cheese is as not had for a while. Although expensive a small amount adds delicious flavour as it’s so creamy
Much nicer than expected
I purchased this not knowing quite to expect. I must say I really enjoyed it and could find no fault with the cheese. I purchased it with a £5 off coupon. At fall price it is way too expensive.
Mouldy
Just opened this with months left on the use by date and its mouldy all around the perimeter. What a waste of money, product and resource. Avoid.
Weird aftertaste
It might vary with seasonality/batch but unfortunately, as of December 2022, I found it had a really unpleasant bitter/metallic finish. Decided not to use it for my homemade venison ragù as felt like it would've spoiled it. Not sure I'll manage to use it up.
