Horrid.
I was hopeful for this with all the good reviews, and when I opened the bottle, yes, it smelt just like gin. Then I took a mouthful. It tastes like sweaty year old unwashed socks (whatever that tastes like), with an acrid bitter flavour and a load of aniseed. I dont think Ive tasted anything else thats quite so offensive. I tried to mixed it with some light fever tree tonic and then didnt get any gin aroma at all. Complete waste of money. I hate to waste anything, but I just cant bring myself to drink any more. Bleugh!
Gordons 0 Gin
Does not taste remotely like the real thing, save your money,
Great
Can't understand the bad reviews here. I bought this and another more expensive one for this week's shop. Tried this first and it honestly tastes just like gin without the little kick at the end. The other more expensive one is disgusting and I've asked for a refund from ocado. This Gordon's version is now going on my weekly shop. Highly recommend if like me you're trying to cut down a bit after boozy December!
A great alternative for a week night!
Nothing hits the spot quite like a G&T in the evenings but this is a great tasting alternative to give you that placebo effect if youre trying to cut back! I found it very pleasant, tastes like gin which many other 0% gins fail to achieve. Will buy again.
At least it tastes like gin!
Not a bad alternative for those times when you don’t want the alcohol.
Disappointing
As fans of the original Gordons gin, we wanted and expected to like this. Weve been drinking another, much pricier, 0% alcohol dry London spirit, so we tasted the two side by side. It was immediately obvious that you get what you pay for. The Gordons had a strange, chemical tang and lacked the fresh, dry flavour that Id expect. It was drinkable, but not very enjoyable. We wont be buying it again, unfortunately.
