Best Tinned Sweetcorn
This is excellent sweetcorn, crisp, big juicy kernels and lovely in a salad. Consistent quality with None of the pieces being brown or off. and its a small tin perfect for small batch prep.
gone down hill
This used to be a great product - but now just tastes like the standard product. No longer super sweet and crunchy :-(
The quality has gone down a bit in recent years
Tinned sweetcorn is simply the best, and it has to be green giant at that. I do feel the quality has dropped a little in recent years. You get a small bit of the cob every now and then.
Surprisingly good for tinned corn
I prefer frozen corn, but if Birds Eye frozen corn is out of stock then this is the next best thing. Most tinned corn makes me actually want to heave as it’s mushy and tastes so strongly of the weird combination of sugar and brine, but this is really crunchy and has a good natural sweet corn flavour. I just wish it was in stock more often.
