Chia is a leading modern-day wholefood that is valued for its nutrients. Grown in sun-soaked South America the seeds are extracted from the plant, cleaned and then packed in their raw state. When soaked in water or milk these tiny seeds can absorb approximately 10 times their weight and form a very versatile gelatine-like substance.

horrible metallic taste
I usually buy a different brand but they were out of stock. These taste so metallic I cant (and dont want to) eat them. But worrying really.
Great to add to yogurts!
Chia seeds are recommended on the Keto diet for all the benefits they bring as well as being very low in Carbs. Even if you are not on Keto they are still a great healthy food to add to your diet. Although I'm not currently doing Keto at the time of writing I still like to add these seeds to my yogurts and salads. They taste great and it gives them a nice crunch. The fact that these Chia seeds are organic is a big plus because it's hard to find organic options for them in shops.
