Tasting Notes
Fresh sourdough, magnolia and lily scents mingle with a hint of smoke over a core of greengage, red plums and dessert apples. The Palate is vivid, almost vibrantly crunchy with precise, structured yet ripe acidity. It is linear, dense and long with momentum and power that bodes well for the future.

This wine has energy and latent tension that will unfold to reveal layers of floral and stone fruit aromas and a rich palate with great length.

as good, perhaps better than champagne

A very elegant, refreshing English sparking wine. We bought several bottles to celebrate a special occasion. All guests commented on its quality. Will buy more!

Been trying few different British sparkling and found this a good one. Has qualities of a good champagne and good level of bubbles

Brilliant Fizz

Sublime sparkler, bright fresh zingy green apples give way to a hugely complex, deeply satisfying wine. Ideal as an aperitif, dangerous for toasting special occasions as you'll want to keep drinking this! Highly recommended, I'd strongly suggest a visit to the vineyard at Hambledon to try their outstanding Rosé and Première.

no wonder why they got so many medals. Their Premiere Cuvee is outstanding too.

just awful

There are so many great English sparkling wines out there. This is not one of them. It was utterly undrinkable and so, like another reviewer, had to pour it away. Avoid avoid avoid.
