‘Saucy’ in the North American sense – i.e. having or expressing a bold, lively or spirited feistiness, like “Oh my days! Did you see the saucy angle that beret was tipped at?” – our tangy and vegan-friendly Pickled Gherkin Relish is a dream with a burger and chips, schnitzel, cheese toastie, caramelised onion spaetzle or arancini.

Very nicely balanced

I'm not an automatic fan of all Harvery Nichols products and many of them are just overpriced. However this relish was very good indeed. Compared to other similar relish its less sweet with more of a vinegar tang, and a much stronger dill flavour. As long as you're a fan of dill this is an excellent choice and I would definitely buy it again.

Maybe I Had A Dud Jar?

Despite the price, based on the ingredients & fantastic reviews, I bought this as my usual gherkin & dill relish has been out of stock for ages. Well, despite the top ingredient being gherkins (87%) the over-riding taste was of plastic and an after-taste of flour & xantham gum. I feel totally cheated.

Expensive yes, but worth it! Great in tuna and mayonnaise and burgers. It will definitely be a regular purchase.
