Heinz Lasagne sauce
Not a pleasant taste - too much nutmeg ruins the taste of whatever you are cooking.
looks like glue
Was the worst white sauce Ive ever bought, very gloopy and dark grey
terrible
Like glue, looked and tasted horrible.
slime
This is the worst white sauce for lasagne ever, its cheap replacement, looking like a slime&tasting like a slime, seriously had problem to eat lasagne once was ready, Heinz use to be one of the best producer of sauces, but its big NO, all products full of chemicals and cheap ingredients Unfortunately all their production is tasting same now, nasty chemicals! And of course overprice!
tasteless
Tried this in my lasagne as I liked the idea of simple ingredients. But it was a bit lacking in flavour and creaminess for me so I added extra cheese to make up for it. I wont buy again but liked the idea.
Interesting taste
I was gifted this product in return for my honest review I’m no stranger to making a lasagne from scratch and love trying new flavours and ingredients. I think this sauce is a required taste. It’s not what I’m used to and, whilst not a crumb was left, I’m not sure I would go out of my way to purchase. If you are a fan of bay leaf flavouring and don’t mind bits in your sauce, go for it but it’s not for me
