SO FRESH AND TASTY
Just followed the instructions on the packet, they were perfect, so tasty just how fresh fish should taste. good strong packing so no leaks, also saves the food from getting damaged
Awful packaging
These were OK after I finally managed to get them free of the packaging. The crumb packet was especially hard to extricate and my efforts left me covered in sardine juice. Got in a flash sale and were fine taste wise but the poor packaging would deter me from buying again hence the low score.

Not eatable at all because of million of bones. In the bin.
wow, fresh and stunning.
Wow. Got in a flash sale, and so glad I did as I know how hit and miss fresh sardines can be. We didnt eat the same day so froze them. I do suggest this, as they freeze well and only take a few (3/4 hours) to defrost. We cooked the following day, following packet instructions. Wow, what a treat. So fresh and tasty. No bones either, which is always a worry. Of course you might be unlucky and get a bone (such is the nature of sardines) but this would not put me off reordering, I have never had such delicious sardines outside of a restaurant, will be ordering more. Well done Ocado, my trust in you has been wavering, this goes some way towards rectifying.
lovely simple healthy ish.
Quick tasty baked however I did add sea salt dried onion parsley and garlic flakes for extra taste. I would say Ocado you advertise this as 300g but the packet stated 250g.big difference to price and portion size. At 250g much of it the weight of the poached coating it doesn't leave much fish at all if split into two. So really your paying alot for crumbs and packaging mainly.
