Best nuts

Having recently purchased some own brand (not Ocado) nuts, its worth paying the extra for these old favourites. The flavouring and texture of these cannot be equaled.

Not inedible, but not nice either

I've eaten quite a lot of peanuts over the last year, however, in a blind taste test I'm not convinced that I would have identified these as peanuts. The other supermarket own brand dry roast peanuts that I have been buying have some issues with the quality control but the peanuts are mostly good and firm and the coating does resemble the taste I remember from my childhood. These KP nuts have a very strange texture almost like they've been freeze dried to take away that firm crunchy texture you normally get with good quality nuts. The seasoning also tastes a bit odd and leaves an unpleasant after taste.

Old-fashioned

The brand has been around for ages and built a loyal following, but the product seems very old-fashioned. The nuts are coated in some sort of gunk. Competitors offer a much crisper, cleaner-tasting product

The best . .

The new packaging is great, the peanuts, the best you can get (don't get the bigger bags though)
