Reason there are no refills

I spoke to KOS directly about this and they were extremely apologetic. The reason there are no refills is that the supermarkets have massive competition for shelf space and limit the number of lines they will carry for a small player in the market. They are really sorry about it as they really wanted to push the eco angle but nobody will stock them One consolation I suppose is that the aluminium bottle is recyclable whereas the plastic one wasn't.

Where are the refills...

Great but why don't you sell the refills any more. We're forced to buy the plastic throwaways.

Pointless

The oil is better than foam or gel, but why sell a refillable bottle and not sell refills? It's more expensive and less environmentally friendly

A smooth shave but prefer shaving foam

My son in law tried this shave oil and he said it smells and feels nice on the skin but he prefers to shave with a foam. It’s not greasy but it feels like you can’t wash all the residue off. It does give a smooth shave though.

different to usual foam

got free to review and have tried for as few weeks now. Different to foam, Less messy and I like the fact its a small bottle that takes up little room in the bathroom cabinet, Does leave the face more oily so I wash after as opposed to just rinsing with foam. Would be handy for travel bag.

Not for me

I’m reviewing this product because my wife got a free sample from Ocado. I tried this with a new razor but not for long as I felt the hairs were being individually plucked! I washed the oil off and replaced it with my normal shaving gel and got a perfect shave. I recommend it as an aftershave; it is pleasantly fragrant and a little goes a long way.
