Kumala is proud to be from South Africa, a nation that is all about variety. If variety is the spice of life, we've grabbed the whole rack and squeezed every last drop into our wine. The name Kumala comes from a combination of local tribal dialects and means 'to do things differently'. Our wine is as diverse and ‘Kolourful' as the land it comes from, bringing positive vibes in every glass through delicious quality wines.
Surrounding South Africa's legendary Table Mountain is a place of lush fertility and natural beauty. This is the home of Kumala, where we make quality wines that are full of character. We source the best available fruits from vineyards dotted all over the five main regions of South Africa's wine-producing land from all over the Western Cape to Olifants River, through Paarl and Stellenbosch to Worcester.
Keep It Kolourful with Kumala.

lower alcohol Great
Noticed this rather nice South African wine due to the consternation of some reviewers about the alcohol content. We prefer a lower AV and enjoyed this wine , advertised now as 11 o/o but in fact it arrived as 12o/o . We enjoyed it
unexciting
Me and my middle class wife we were commencing enjoying Saturday evening when we unfortunately came across this underwhelming wine. We both end up crying trying to figure out the flavours, the body or aromas. My middle class wife was crying for hours.
Leaves sugary after taste.
I find this makes me feel like I've just drank a cup of sugar,
what a con by Ocado
Bought this because it was on offer at an attractive price. Thoroughly disappointed, is listed on Ocado site as 14% proof but is very weak and when I checked the bottle IT IS ONLY 12.5% PROOF
Not what it says on the tin...
Correct this wrongly ABV'd info. I bought it because I trusted your information, Ocado. It's 12.5% NOT 14%. I wouldn't have bought it (despite the reduction) solely based on that... A sale under false pretenses. The wine is OK at best.
Incorrect information
The alcohol content is 12.5%, not 14% as it's marketed here
