Nothing very special
Not sure why these beans get so many five star reviews. They're very ordinary with nothing distinctive at all about the flavour.
Deeply Average
Compared to other premium coffee beans to be found here - Union, CafeDirect - these beans look & smell the part, but produce no flavour highlights and a slightly bitter, almost gritty, finish in the cup. Not very high quality and better to be had from other brands.
Intense coffee
Attractive, airtight outer packaging, good 500g size. My husband normally buys the coffee beans in our house and found it hard to find the right grind settings for these beans, having to go much coarser than usual, saying they were very dry. They were much older than those he normally chooses, with a production date of July 22 (9 months ago). The coffee came out of the machine quite watery, with limited thin crema. The taste was strong and pleasant to drink.
Good strong coffee
Tasty coffee. Very strong but doesn’t feel too dark or burnt or bitter - just intense (as the name suggests). Nice aroma. Very beautiful beans - literally, just a pleasure to look at - whole, clean, nice. Very happy with this coffee.

Really strong and lovely aroma which makes grinding and brewing a pleasure in itself. Tastes great too but is a really strong coffee so is for mornings really
