Located in a pretty valley of Provence, Château La Coste is one of the most impressive, state-of-the-art vineyards and wine making installations in France. The brain child of Paddy McKillen, Irish property magnate and art fanatic, the vineyard is home to more than 124 hectares of vineyards, as well as sculptures and installations - all surrounded by the beauty of the Bouches du Rhone. This is a very unique place that gives birth to delicious wine.

Regional Information
The dazzling, sun-drenched vines of the Provençal vineyard span 200 kilometres, crossing through the Var, Bouches-du-Rhône and part of the Alpes-Maritimes. The landscapes are made up of hills and small mountains with gentle curves, covered with shrubbery and forests. The Mediterranean climate is perfect: sunny, dry and warm. The winds are many and are an integral part of the region's climate. It is particularly dry, cools down the vineyards and, above all, protects them from humidity-related illnesses.

Vinification Details
Parcels are selected. Manual (50%) and mechanical (50%) harvesting. Grapes are pressed using the direct method. Must is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats on fine lees.

I liked it

It reminds me of the Hampton Water which is also Lovely. It's a stronger less delicate taste than a 'standard' Provence I think. I got it as sub and I was pleased with it I would order again but only on offer as the Hampton water is normally £19 which is more acceptable

Not worth the money

Full price £25 is far too much for this wine even at £12.50 in the sale is still too much. Had much nicer cheaper wines, if you do want a more expensive Rosé try Amie it's delicious!

Provence with a little difference

Very nice rose with a slightly stronger taste than your average Provence. Really good for the offer price but might not go again at full price.
