Created by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), Légende Bordeaux Blanc combines freshness and liveliness. After several weeks of ageing on fine lees, Sémillon and Sauvignon are blended to give an aromatic and pleasant wine.

Tasting Notes
Bright pale straw colour, refined and aromtaic combining citrus notes of grapefruit and lime with aromas of exotic passion fruit. The palate is fresh, lively and very aromatic with exotic notes on the finish.
History
The name ¿Légende¿, which takes its origins from the legendary history of the Domaines, has become the flagship brand of Collection wines. Launched in 1995 the Légende wines reveal all the traditional qualities of Bordeaux's vineyards, and express the freshness and elegance for which Bordeaux is famous.

The wine is made from selections of the finest production in the Entre-deux-Mers region.

Vinification Details
The technical team selects the terriors and supervises the vinification . As early as possible after fermentation, the DBR (Lafite) team selects the best batches of wine after successive blind tastings, enabling them not only to ensure top quality wine but also to control each stage of the winemaking and ageing.

Lovely and good value.

Good value at the reduced price, this is a wine for summer drinking, ideally, as it is relatively low in alcohol (12%), is light-bodies and has no oak.

Lovely crisp Bordeaux blanc.

We had this nicely chilled with fish and found it light and elegant.

Awful

Absolutely awful wine. Wish I could return it as not going to drink it. Nothing like the description of fresh and lively, more like paint stripper/nail polish remover. Ill still to Oyster Bay Sauvignon in future, this wine was a waste of money!

Lovely French white

This is a lovely, well-balanced white wine. It’s a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, and we had it properly chilled with chicken. It went well with our meal and was nice to drink on its own afterwards too. Definitely worth a try if you like your Sauv Blancs.

Clean, elegant & crisp. Lovely balanced fruit & citrus. Great with chicken & pork. Highly recommend.
