Brand
Meet Laphroaig's most laid-back expression. Our Master Blender creates this Laphroaig by selecting five different casks, across a range of ages. They are married together to reach a mellow balance of flavours that opens up the world of Laphroaig for every drinker.
We begin the maturation in ex-bourbon casks, eventually drawing portions destined for four characterful casks: new American oak. quarter casks, PX casks and European Oloroso casks. Finally, we marry these distinctive liquids together to create a whisky that's easy to enjoy-but with a complexity that delights.

Great
Complex blend of peat, smoke and sweetness with smooth finish. It's a great choice of whiskey.
Peaty peaty
I've tried a lot of whisky's recently and this brand is definitely my least favourite. Very peaty and oaky. The bottle is also traditional and not one I'm drawn to over some of the more creative designs. Can't tell the difference in taste with the other whisky's under this brand.
Great whisky
I love this whisky. Great flavour with smoke and peat overtones. It smells and tastes amazing. It is an acquired taste, but one of my favourites. Reminds me of sitting by an open fire in winter.
Laphroaig Islay select
Bought this for my husband and quite liked the peated whiskey. It's sweet and after taste is of a peat smoke that may not be everyone's choice.
Excellent!
A very good Whisky. It has a good colour, I enjoyed it on ice and the flavours really came through in every sip. It was not too strong, had a pleasant aroma and would also make a good gift, as it comes in a nice presentation box.
Middle of the road
Doesn't taste bad, doesn't taste amazing. Middle of the road stuff. I'd rather drink the 10 year old or the quarter cask. Still decent for the price.
