A big disappointment

After all the rave reviews I was very disappointed! Maybe it’s just a taste thing or perhaps I’ve been spoilt with Union Revelation… new to all this as I’ve just purchased a Delonghi Eletta Explore. To me these beans make a fairly bitter, fairly weak coffee. Better with milk. Nothing like the Union ones which are rich, full bodied and intense without being overpowering. Just a big no from me. Desperately trying to get the beans out so I can get back to the Revelation ones!

Always come back to this

Bean to cup machine. Have tried numerous much more expensive brands providing freshly roasted beans. Always come back to this - I have two shots with a little bit of hot water and it doesn't taste bitter or acidic to me. Really nice smell and flavour. To my untrained senses - smooth, a little chocolatey and tastes like what I think coffee should taste like.
