Preparation and Usage
Recipes
Coat 500g diced beef briskets with 1 tbsp cornflour. Stir-fry the beef with 1 tbsp oil until lightly browned. Add 4 tbsp Chinese Five-Spice Sauce, 750ml cold water and 1 tbsp brown sugar, bring it to boil then lover the heat and simmer for 40 mins. Add in 300g 2cm sliced mooli and cook for further 30 mins until sauce thickens and beef is tender.

Home made Chinese
Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Made some lovely chicken with this sauce at home. Was very tasty!

Im writing this review because I received a sample from Ocado to try. This sauce added the right amount of zing to my meal. Would recommend.
Delicious Chinese chicken
I was given a free sample of this sauce to review. It worked well added to stir fried chicken, bamboo shoots and bean sprouts with garlic and Hoisin sauce. It didnt need a lot of the sauce, approx 4 teaspoons to 2 chicken breasts. The great thing is that it keeps for 4 weeks in the fridge. Next time I will add mushrooms too.

Received a free sample for the review - This was nicer than another product in the range , it had a good balance of flavour . The five spice was balanced its was too one one or the other , which you can sometimes get . Id consider buying this .
