Tastes nothing like Sweet Hoisin Sauce

I normally get this item from my local supermarket. Was glad to find this on Ocado but this particular bottle tasted nothing like what I normally get. It is pure oil and I can only taste sesame oil, nothing else. I would definitely not order it again.

I no longer have to go to the Asian supermarket to get this. Flipping love this stuff on everything. Extremely rich and full of flavour. Great with itsu dumplings

Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. We are regular buyers of Hoisin sauce and its so hard to find a decent size bottle at a good price. This ticked all the boxes. We used the bottle to make a pork stir fry, a duck pasta dish and still had some left for a future meal. Ive used Lee Kim soy sauce before as you can buy larger bottles at a good price so I knew the quality wouldve good. Weve now found a Hoisin swap too.

so versatile and tasty

We were offered this free of charge to test and review. Im no stranger to Lee Kum Kee as its a brand I have used many times and trust to deliver the flavour. I used it in a stir fry and as a dipping sauce. Its flavour is perfect to add in to whatever youre cooking if you want to add a sweet note. Love it and will repurchase.
