Change of recipes
These used to be my go to veggie burger, lush and unctuous. After trying to reduce my UPF for a while, I decided to treat myself, and was really looking forward to a burger again. SO disappointed. Whilst the flavour was good, and pretty much the same as ever, the texture is completely decimated. Gone is the lush. It is now grainy, almost gristley, and really unpleasant. The first burger I did in the oven, so the next night I fried the second one to see if that improved things. It did not. I will not be buying again until I read reviews saying they have reverted to the old recipe!
Average
These used to be our go-to burgers but there are so many alternatives now and they've not really kept up.
Tasteless
Wow, these are the blandest vegetarian burgers I've ever tried. Just nothing going on whatsoever. And there were a few bits of dried crunchy onion in one of them, which made for horrible texture.
Weekly purchase
Really enjoy these, good flavour and good level of protein compared to other vegi burgers!
Not for me
I don’t like vegan meat alternatives but I wanted to try these as they were on offer and because I could keep these in the freezer as an easy, high protein option but they tasted smoky and meaty which I don’t like. Ok but not for me.
the best
