Just a bite of chocolate

The information of the packaging is quite detailed as to the origins and country of production plus company who produces this, and on paper it sounds like it should be good, but as much as I wanted to like it, I found it bland, not creamy and mouthwateringly creamy gloopy and delicious like most other 100% bars, but snap crunch and its gone, no flavour, slightly bitter but thats it. I tried it from the fridge and left at room temp for 12 hours and it made no difference to how boring it tastes.

Avoid

This is an example of a bad 100% chocolate - bitter, acidic, flat and tasting when it melts on your tongue. If this was my first ever introduction to 100% cacao chocolate, it would put me off this kind of chocolate for life. Fortunately, there are many other wonderful 100% cacao chocolates out there. Ocado stocks two other brands which have done a much better job. Avoid this one and don’t be tempted by the price.

Easily competes with specialist chocolate makers. One of my favourite 100% chocolate bars.

Incredible...

This chocolate is insanely good. I find it actually creamy, but then I love dark chocolate. It's full of antioxidants and no sugar... I buy this regularly... I also really love the packaging of this... Luxury on a budget... I hope they never discontinue this product...xxx
