Specially selected for their unique and outstanding meaty texture, this fresh class A skin on British duck breast portions come with a sachet of sweet plum sauce. Simply pan fry, finish in the oven and pour the sauce on five minutes before the end of cooking. Serves 2.

Remove from oven, drain excess juices and pour the sauce over the duck breasts for the final 5 mins of the cook time. Rest for 5-10 mins before serving.; Shallow Fry - From Chilled. 6 mins
Preheat oven. Remove all packaging, place sauce sachet to one side. Score the skin and season with salt and pepper, if desired. Heat a frying pan on the hob over a medium to high heat, without oil. Place the duck breasts skin side down in the hot frying pan. Cook for 5 mins until the skin turns golden brown then turn over and seal the meat for 1 min. Place the duck breasts skin side up on a baking tray. Place in the centre of the oven.

Suitable for freezing. For use by see front of pack. Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Once opened use immediately. Freeze by date mark shown and use within 3 months. Once defrosted (in a refrigerator) eat within 24 hours. Defrost thoroughly before use. Do not refreeze.

Not great
Purchased in the flash sale. The duck breasts did shrink after cooking. One was tender and the other one was stringy. Sauce was a bit sour. Dont think we will re purchase.
decent taste
Worked well but lost quite a lot of size in cooking unlike the duck breasts I get from my butcher so unsure but well.. The sauce worked well if not a little too much sugar
Shrink horribly but taste delicious all the same
The meat looked a good size but on cooking it shrank quite incredibly to half the size (at best). Nothing like the Gressingham or butchers ones. They did taste very nice though and were very tender.

This is the second product ordered this week which is M&S meat and not properly described. These are not duck breasts, they are small portions of duck breasts. The weight is misleading as they include the sauce. The duck 'breasts' are at most half pieces. I have asked for a refund as with the other M&S meat product also purchased in this order which was wrongly described. Ocado and M&S need to describe these products correctly, if people are buying remotely or just be labelled as untrustworthy . . .
