Quite unpleasant
I imagined, these being M&S pork pies, they would be delicious - they weren't. I say 'they' but I've only eaten one...the second will be chopped up and put on my bird table. Horrid pastry that just tasted lardy and pork that had no texture and an unpleasant taste. These will not be re ordered!
Soft Pastry
M and S were always some of the best pies around...lots of jelly and lovely crisp pastry. Now severely lacking in both. The pastry is soft and tasteless whilst the jelly is non existant. Their larger pies are going down the same road.
peculiar
Odd looking pork wasnt happy with the colour or the smell.Pastry is just not right it should be almost crispy and its doughy
Disappointing pie!
Reading some of the reviews, its obvious that theyve never had a decent pork pie, with crispy pastry and the all important jelly! I wont buy these again!
Nice pies
Nice pies but always arrive open and squished! Packaging is not sufficient.
consistently good but lacks depth
I do buy these quite often as they are the best supermarket ones available but I just wish the had a bit more of a peppery taste to them, like the high priced banded ones, which I havent seen available in Ocado.
