Always upside down.
Dont order these if you need them to look nice when served. They always, always arrive upside down with the icing stuck to the plastic window in the box. They taste nice and the custard filling is generous but by the time youve got them out of the packaging theyre a mess.
Disappointed last two times
These are usually very nice but recently pastry is bland and custard with little taste
5 Stars \- BUT!!!
It would be a great idea if Ocado could sort out bags with flat bottoms or a piece of board in, or even individual bags for cakes like this as mine have always turned up upside down and the top is then spoiled. I've still given 5 stars as they are lovely. This is not down to the delivery guys, it happens at packing stage. Please come up with a solution Ocado :)
Package problem.
I give up on buying these tasty morsels. Again had to get a refund on the custard half of the offer. Again the icing , received upside down, was totally squahed against the flimsy cellophane, impossible to remove as it squahes even more if one trys to scrape off and begrudge paying for 2 slices of pastry, thank goodness for ease of reund from Ocado! As the cream slice was delivered perfectly, in a different bag I suppose 50% of blame must go to how these are packed in the delivery bags.
slices themselves are lovely packaging fail
Delicious slices, absolutely nothing wrong with them but without fail they arrive with all the icing stuck on the packaging film. Out of necessity Ive developed a great scraping technique but it shouldnt be needed.
Packaging issue
Although I still buy them, the top of the slice somehow gets glued to the packaging so thats rather annoying.
