why?
Another old favourite which has had recipe change. I used to love this cake but now seems dry and definitely less filling.

different ingredients
used to enjoy this. recipe seems to have changed, now sugar is.more grainy, tastes more synthetic too.

Very bland
I haven't bought this for some time and was very disappointed. It had very little flavour and all I could taste was the over sweetness.

pleasant but not worth the calories
Its very sweet. The apricot jam is nice but with the sponge and cream its all a little too sweet for my liking- I think a raspberry jam works better. My 6 year old , does not find it too sweet and really enjoyed it.
