I struggled to find the avocado!
Disappointing! Far too much grain, far to little avocado.
Delicious
An amazing salad. Fresh and tasty, A perfect mix of good quality ingredients. Very filling, enough for two - as an accompaniment. I will definitely buy again.
Tasty - except for brown squidgy avocado
Seems to me this is a way of using up what is actually a very small amount of well past eat by date avocado. I keep giving it another chance but not buying again. Today's delivery had mostly brown bits of avocado and not a lot of feta either. Poor quality and overpriced.
Large portion for 1
1st time purchasing this salad, it does have a high calorie count which I didn't realise. It is mainly grains, could do with more feta, cucumber and avocado to balance it out, due to the size, dressing was on the small side
Good mix of grains
This is one of the decent M&S salads. There's a good mix of grains and lentils, and an OK amount of (fairly bland) feta. You'll need a telescope to find the avocado and any other greens! It's a touch bland and definitely needs a dressing of some sort on it. I can take or leave the creme fraiche one - I tried it with a balsamic dressing and that was fine. I order this regularly and pretty much every time it's Ocado's usual tiresome trick of sending chilled salads to be used the next day. It makes meal planning a nightmare and I fail to believe that they can't juggle their stock better than this.
Poor life
Arrived with 1 day to go on the use by date. Checking the item details I can see now that only 1 day is guaranteed, but we are finding this happens for more and more products. We like this salad, but won't order it from Ocado anymore. Leads to too much waste for us - it's not always possible to juggle the meal plan around when you receive more than one item with a short life like this.
