A rich and smooth sauce made with tangy Bramley apples, Somerset cider, chicken stock and cream. Heat gently over the hob or in the microwave and pour over grilled meat or pork. Serves 2.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Once opened, refrigerate and consume within 3 days.

Cooking Instructions - General. Important
Take care when removing hot liquids from microwave.; Hob - From Ambient. Empty contents into a suitable saucepan and heat gently stirring occasionally.
Do not boil.; Microwave - From Ambient. Cut pouch along the top before placing in microwave.
Heat on full power for (750w) 90 sec, (850w) 70 sec. Stir and serve.

Whats Happened to This
This, although a bit pricey was always a go to sauce for pork loved by all. The last one we had was horribly sour, has it changed?

Perfect with pork
Served this with pork crackling, new potatoes and cabbage and it worked perfectly. Really quick and easy.

Delicious Sauce
We always enjoy chicken breasts cooked in this sauce like a casserole. Very simple to do and good with rosemary on parmentier potatoes.

I use this when serving gammon - either steaks or a roast - as it makes a useful sauce when combined with some of the meat juices. I sometimes add a splash of cream too.

Not for me!
Did not like this at all and neither did the family. Almost smelt cheesy and not pleasant at all. Would not buy again unfortunately.
