Storage
For Use By, see front of pack. Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Once
opened, use immediately. Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date mark
shown and use within 3 months. Once defrosted (in a refrigerator) use
immediately. Defrost thoroughly before use.
Instructions
Oven cook - From Chilled. Needs Cooking. Preheat oven and remove all packaging. Cut the fillets into small pieces. Season some flour with salt and freshly ground pepper. Dust the lamb in the seasoned flour. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan. Fry the lamb over a medium high heat until browned on all sides. Add vegetables as desired and cook for 5 mins. Place into a casserole dish and add 400ml of stock. Cover and place in the oven. Cook for 1 hour 30 mins. Electric 160°C, Fan 140°C, Gas 3, 1 hour - 1 hour 30 mins Do not reheat.

Don't understand the complaints about the size - it literally tells you it's 250g?! Perfect for a stew, not too much or too little fat and easy to cut with kitchen scissors. Not very strongly flavoured - some guests I served this to thought it was beef.
Why has the pack size been reduced? It was fine the way it was, now I would have to buy 2 packs for the same amount of meat, thereby doubling the plastic waste!
Dont be fooled by the picture - what you get is about a third of what you see! They used to be that big - now I havent enough to make Minted lamb hotpot for my guests!
I slow cooked this (the only way) for use in a traditional lamb stew and it was perfect. Soft and flavoursome just the way it should be. Small pieces, so did need two packs and would prefer if they produced a larger size as packaging is really fiddly (and sharp) to open but still works out economical.
