Very good pork pie, nice soft crust
I'm used to another brand of pork pie which I stopped buying as the pastry was too hard and oily. This M&S Pork Pie was a very good alternative, lovely soft crust pastry and the pork was smooth with a mild peppery kick to it. So good I didn't even bother with pickle.
Delicious
Family shared this pork pie with M&S Caramelised Onion Chutney and M&S Mustard and it was delicious. Nice treat with proper jelly around the pastry. Too many calories but nice for a treat.
Not great
Not as I expected. We wanted these as a centrepiece for a ploughman’s lunch board to be eaten with pickles, cheese ham etc, we all found it quite greasy and lacking in taste and jelly. Wouldn’t buy again.
Delicious
Great product!
very poor quality
This was very disappointing. The meat had an unusual and not particularly pleasant flavour, unlike any pork pies Ive had before. Not up to M&Ss usual standards, would not recommend.
Horrible
Too much salt and nutmeg or whatever they used for seasoning. I took one bit and I had a burning sensation in my throat. I have brought this pork pie every week this was the worst. Not much jelly, which was a yellowish colour. Pastry was ok. Throw the rest of the pork pie in the bin. M & S needs to sort this out. .
