Tender, extra-large chicken, seasoned with salt, pepper and red bell peppers and basted with butter brine. Easy to cook, simply roast in the bag and enjoy. Serves 5 to 6.

Storage
Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Once opened, use immediately. Suitable for freezing. Freeze on day of purchase and use within three months. Once defrosted (in a refrigerator) consume within 24 hours. Defrost thoroughly before use. Do not refreeze.
Preparation and Usage
Do not wash. Wash hands before and after handling poultry, and after disposing of packaging. Use separate chopping boards/utensils. Always cover poultry and store at bottom of fridge.
Carving Instructions
To ensure your chicken looks as good as it tastes, here are some useful tips on carving. All you need is a sharp knife and a carving fork to hold the bird safely in position.
1. Lift one end of the drumstick and use it to pull the whole leg away from the body., then cut through the joint between the thigh and the body.
2. Turn the chicken so the neck is facing you. Slice the breast meat evenly, carving into long slices parallel with the breast bone.
3. Hold leg by end of drumstick, slice through joint to separate drumstick and thigh.
4. Drumstick meat can be carved off in a vertical direction.
5. Using carving fork hold thigh in place and carve meat either side of the bone.

200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6
After 30 min, cut bag along dotted lines for crispy chicken skin. Cover with foil if necessary to avoid excessive browning. Return to the oven and baste chicken frequently during cooking. Remove from oven and leave to stand for 10 min before carving. Check that product is thoroughly cooked before serving.
Do not reheat.

Take care when using scissors to open the bag as steam in the bag will be released. Roasting tin and bag will contain hot liquid after cooking. If cooking in a gas oven, ensure bag is not close to oven flame. Ensure juices run clear and product is piping hot throughout before serving.

I got this in the flash sale. My husband said it was so tasty. I had some flavour, but full of cold, so not best judge, but everyone who had it , enjoyed it. So will buy again.
Not a nice flavour
After cooking there was no chicken flavour as such, just a strange taste. It was a mistake buying this on flash sale. Will continue to purchase organic chicken & just have less of it because of the price.
