Great for sandwiches
I can usually make two or three rounds of sandwiches from this pack. Put it with coleslaw and a handful of grated cheese and it's divine. Nice peppery flavour.
Tiny packet and tiny flavour
I wouldn't describe this as pastrami at all, its simply not seasoned enough. Its just wafer thin beef. This would not pass muster in any deli. The packet is also tiny, 95g is barely enough to make one decent sandwich. Very disappointed and would not buy again.
decent pastrami
Not too thin/thick. Good pastrami with good flavour. Usually has a good shelf life date too. I use it in sandwiches but also on top of burgers sometimes- delicious!
Delicious!
Tried to recreate the sandwich I had at Katz's Diner in New York. Of course, it's never going to be as good as that, but it still made for a very tasty sandwich! Put it on some rye bread, along with a mild mustard and Emmantal cheese. Would add some pickled gherkins next time. Lovely!
too many additives
needs to be a pack of at least 200 g to save on packaging and cost.
Disappointing
Tastes mainly of pepper which overwhelmed the flovour of the beef, Won't buy again
