I enjoyed this more than your bog-standard Scotch Egg but it is a little pricey.

Some things should NOT be messed with
Whoever thought this was a good idea is sadly mistaken in my opinion. I thought try something different, I like caramelised onion, I like chorizo MISTAKE this just doesn't work a waste of £2 - back to traditional

Not disgusting but really tasteless which is surprising as it is made of chorizo.

Bland
I couldn't discern much in the way of caramelised onion flavour or chorizo either. The outer texture was very fine and rubbery and the hard boiled egg in the middle was a bit rubbery too. I did eat it straight out of the fridge and it may be better warmed but I don't think I will be buying again to find out.
