Preparation and Usage

Due to the authenticity of the sauce recipe, separation of oil is a characteristic of this product. Simply stir through sauce before serving.

Instructions

Cooking Instructions - General. Remove sleeve. Pierce film.
For best results microwave.
Do not reheat.; Microwave - From Chilled. 750W 5 mins
900W 4 mins, 30 secs
Cook on high (100%).
Stir halfway through cooking.
Guide for one pack only.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Electric 180°C, Fan 160°C, Gas 4, 25 mins
Preheat oven. Place on a baking tray.
Allow to stand for 1 min.
Stir after cooking.

Fair; much better without the rice

I am mystified why this range with rice always 'explodes' in the microwave (despite rigorous piercing of the film) leaving sauce flowing across the microwave plate and into the machine. The M&S products without rice do not do this and are excellent. Competitor brands do not do this. Why?

Disappointing

The sauce lacks balance with overtones of cardamom and the (small portion of) chicken is chewy. The rice is ok but theres too much of it. I seldom eat ready meals but ordered this as a treat because Im ill, but it was so disappointing - serves me right for being unhealthy (or perhaps I shouldve just ordered a takeaway!!)

Dry. Underwhelming

Not recommend. Dry rice and dry chicken and very little sauce. Poor product from usually very good M & S range.
