Not good anymore
This used to be a top ready meal that i purchased weekly. It's now very runny, the meat used to be fine and tender, it's now definitely a different mince and appears to be cheap chewy mince. Yet another ready meal I'll never buy again. What have M&S done to their ready meals? They're as bad as cheap ones now but with a higher price.
Easy lunch option
This is a good option for a quick lunch. The meat is tasty and plentiful, although I prefer mine with more chilli. Four stars given for the beans I have to pick out....if M&S introduce a beanless Texan chilli, I'll be a regular buyer!
Tasty
Filling, full of flavour, just the right amount of chilli heat.
Really Good
Very tasty, I add sour cream and coriander and grated cheese on top... mmmm mmmm 😋
Decent for ready meal
This will never be as good as homemade (of course!), so as far as a ready meal goes it’s quick, easy, decent portion for 1, good quality and tastes nice.
No beans
Chili con carne is traditionally red kidney beans with a small amount if chili beef. The M&S product has almost no beans. Very poor recipe.
