Delicious sweet snacks
Make no mistake these are packed with sugar but they do serve well for when you need a sweet hit. They are divided into 3 blocks so you dont need to eat the whole thing in one. Taste a bit like Christmas pudding, could do with a little more cocoa and hazelnut perhaps.
awful!
I bought these to try instead of the Nakd bars as they are cheaper. Jebus these were awful! I managed one bite. Thankfully it was a small one. The texture is abhorrent and the taste is no better. Definitely not worth the small saving!
My go-to snack
I think these are nicer than the Nakd equivalent. I like the chunky sections and choc chips. Yummy!!
Better than Nakd
These are delicious. Much more flavourful than Nakd, you can really taste the orange and the chocolate. The texture is better too, broken up with dark choc chips rather than a homogenous mush. If you like the Nakd orange chocolate bars, give these a try, they taste better. Also, the wrappers are fine, four sentences complaining about them is a bit overkill don't you think...
Poor packaging and chicory fibre
These are meant to be similar to the Nakd bars. The difference is that Nakd bars genuinely have only 2-4 ingredients and are made of dried fruit + nuts. Their fibre comes from fruit. In contrast, these bars have far more ingredients and use chicory fibre to increase their fibre content. These bars are not like a Nakd bar. They are a bar with chocolate chips, SOME fruit content, and chicory fibre. Secondly, the wrappers of these bars are so cheap and poor. One might think that in a pandemic the entire function of a bar like this is to have a snack that you can eat on the go without having your germy hands touch your food. Unfortunately these wrappers are plasticky and so thin they are nearly translucent. They make the bar far more difficult to open (compared to a Nakd bar) and they will shred into ribbons when you try, meaning that you will end up with your germy fingers on the bar anyway.
